workshop ‘fascinating marble’ and get acquainted with techniques of the art of
sculpture. Your creative spirit will guide you to give your ideas and thoughts
unique shapes by using these technics.
Individual programme will be designed for each participant in the workshop,
personalised for newcomers and advanced.
The first step is the selection of the right marble stone followed by the
different stages of working on the marble and shaping. The final stage is
polishing the feat.
And when the good techniques of the master meets his or her affection to the
shape, then the marble stone will display its amazing beauty. And then the piece
of marble which has been turned to a sculpture will bring out the creative
nature and personality of its creator.
The workshop ‘fascinating marble’ is guided by the sculptor Giora Gavrailova,
born 1972 in Sofia. Studies:Greece- Art College ‘Plakka’ Athens- graphics;
Italy-‘Artega’ School, Milan- ceramics; Italy- ‘Sculpture Studio Arko Arte’
Karrara- sculpture.
Participacion in: the National Sculpture Competition in Torino 2002, Italy
(medal); The National Competition Morales in Bresca, Italy 2003 (diploma); The
International Exhebition Marble and Technologies ‘Marmorak’ in Verona,
Italy2005. Participation in projects of Phare and Leonardo Da Vinci.
Works of Giora Gavrailova are owned by art galleries and collectors inItaly,
Austria, Spain and Morocco.

You should have the following objects with you: headgear, personal safety
